Classes offered:
Protecting God’s Children – First Time – 3 hour course
Keeping the Promise Alive – Refresher – 1.5 hour course
ALL VOLUNTEERS in the Archdiocese of Galveston Houston must be Virtus trained to volunteer in a parish. The first Virtus training is “Protecting God’s Children.” If it has been 5 years or more since you took this class you will need to take the refresher, “Keeping the Promise Alive.” Below is a list of some upcoming classes for “Protecting God’s Children”. You must sign up online to register for your class. Please log on to the website www.virtusonline.org and sign up for the necessary class as soon as possible so you can be in compliance. It is important for you to know that all classes start on time. Please arrive 30 minutes early with proper ID. If you arrive after the presentation begins you will be turned away and not allowed to take the class that day.
NOTE: when you are completing the online form use the name on your driver’s license. You will be asked to show a valid ID such as a driver license or passport when you arrive at class. No walk-ins or late admittance allowed.
Thank you to all who volunteer in the parish. May God bless you for giving so generously of your time. Please contact Mary Jo Wilt with any questions you may have. saintfaustinaministry@gmail.com
