It’s the most wonderful time of the year- the feast day of St. Faustina! Our patroness is constantly interceding for us, so we want to have a big celebration in honor of her life and the life we have built together as a parish. This feast day is a reminder of the unity we share both in our parish and in the entire Body of Christ.
Please join us on
October 5, 2019, from 9:30am to 3:00pm, rain or shine. There will be games and activities for children, lunch (pre sold plates only), Wawel Polish Folk dancers, Matachinas Hispanic dancers, a slideshow about St. Faustina’s life, a relic of St. Faustina, a live auction, and much more!
Some of the prizes for the Live & Silent Auction include:
Dinner for up to 10 with Father Dat
Golf for four with Father Dat
Day at the Beach House for up to 10 with Father David Michael
2 Reserved Parking Spaces for 1 year
Reserved Seating at Mass
And even more!
While the children play, teens and adults can enrich their spiritual walk with a presentation about the Theology and Devotion of St. Faustina by Sr. Caterina, a theatrical performance of St. Faustina’s Life by Aimee Morvant, and a message from Father Dat about the future of our Parish.
The Catholic faith has a deep and rich tradition of devotion to particular saints. St. Faustina was blessed with an image of Christ’s Divine Mercy that has impacted the entire world and completely transformed our parish. Learning about her life and growing in fellowship is the best way to honor a woman who was so devoted to Jesus. Bring friends, family, or someone you just met! This event is for everyone.
“We wish all who attend a joyous experience and hope that when the day is over they leave with a deeper understanding of how through the deep love of God we can live, experience, and share Divine Mercy today,” said Sean Linkenheimer, Feast Day Chairman.
T-shirts will be $10 each and Plate Lunches are $10 each. These will be sold after all weekend Masses September 7-September 29. Please wear your t-shirt to the celebration and to all Masses the weekend of October 5-6.
