Hallelujah! Sing to the LORD a new song, his praise in the assembly of the faithful (Psalms 149:1)
As we are told, music forms a big part of our faith. Being a Psalmist, Cantor, or Chorister helps the children develop a much deeper understanding of scripture and our sacred traditions. How is this possible? They learn our beautiful traditional and contemporary Catholic hymns that have been around with us, professing the love of God.
We also know that studying music helps develop discipline, confidence, and broaden creativity. Forming part of the choir imparts a sense of responsibility and a sense of duty. We want to provide the children with an opportunity to share their musical gifts with our faithful community and their families.
