Faith Formation 2022-2023

If you have registered for our program, you should have received an email with the information pertaining to your child's class. All emails have gone out through Flocknote. In the event you have not received anything, please check your spam filters, or login to Flocknote here. From there, please scroll down to Faith Formation 22-23 and find your grade and section level for all updates that have been sent by our coordinators.
 

Thank you for inquiring about our Faith Formation program for the upcoming 2022-2023 year. We are very excited that all of our programming will be transitioning into the new Community and Education Center, and are looking forward to expanding the ways in which we are able to serve your family. We will begin this year the week of Catechetical Sunday, which will be September 18th. Please take a moment to look at our upcoming offerings for the year ahead. If you are interested in helping us in any capacity, please consider reaching out to the appropriate coordinator.

Elementary (PreK 4-5th Grade)

• Weekly Program (Monday Afternoons 5:00pm-6:15pm, Tuesday Afternoons 5:00pm-6:15pm, Wednesday Afternoons 4:30pm-5:45pm, Wednesday Evenings 6:45pm-8:00pm). 
  • Students would come once a week, with the exception of the weeks we have Zion*.
• Home Study program through Sadlier Publishing: All year at-home lessons with no classes on-site.
• Sacrament Preparation for First Reconciliation and Communion is a separate registration that you will be invited to if your child is eligible.  

Junior High (6th-8th Grade)

• Weekly Program EDGE Sundays: 2:45pm-4:15 pm
  • Students would come once a week, with the exception of the weeks we have Zion*.
• Home study family option available
  • Book and Video Family Catechesis
• Sacrament Preparation for First Reconciliation and Communion is a separate registration that you will be invited to if your child is eligible.  
• Abide: Weekly Wednesday Night Community and Formation, 6:30-8:00pm, sponsored by Junior High Youth Ministry

High School (9th-12th Grade)

• Weekly Program – Life Teen: D-Group Sundays: 6:30pm-8pm
  • Dynamic large group and small group format evangelization & catechesis through talks, games, prayer, and community 
  • Students would come once a week, with the exception of the weeks we have Zion*.

• Home study family option available FOR FIRST YEAR TEENS ONLY
  • Book and Video Family Catechesis 
• Sacrament Preparation for Confirmation is a separate registration that you will be invited to if your child is eligible. All teens, including Catholic School Teens, must register for regular Faith Formation the year they are eligble for Confirmation!
• Encounter (No Registration Required): Weekly Wednesday Night Community and Formation, 6:30-8:00pm, sponsored by High School Youth Ministry

Zion: Family Worship Night

• Once a month, we will shut our faith formation programs down for the week for our families across each of our programs to gather together for Zion. Zion is our monthly worship night, which will begin with community time and dinner, followed by a great speaker and time for praise and worship in front of the Blessed Sacrament.
• Even if your class does not take place on Wednesdays, you are invited to join us on these evenings for this great family worship event for all ages.

New This Year

• Elementary:
  • A new Class Section for PreK-4 students
  • Wednesday afternoon and evening section (to help coincide with older adolescent events)
  • Quarterly Family Gatherings, sponsored by Elementary FF
• Junior High
  • Class will end at 4:15pm, with an encouragement to attend the 4:30pm Mass immediately following class
• High School
  • Open Youth Room on Thursday afternoons from 3-5pm
• Adults
  • Formation gatherings and opportunities onsite that coincide with class times 
• Families
  • The continuation of our family formation events (Trunk or Treat, Live Nativity, Family Movie Night, Tailgate Party, etc.) and the addition of new events this upcoming year
