Catholic Women of Houston Conference

Greetings Catholic Women of Houston!
I hope that all of you are having a restful and blessed summer! We are happily preparing for our October conference and want to fill you in on some of the details. Our theme this year is Evangelization... "Finding our words." As you may have noticed in last month's newsletter, this year's Houston Catholic Women's Conference will be held at the Cathedral of Our Lady of Walsingham Catholic Church and Shrine. We think it is most appropriate that our patron saint for this conference is Our Lady of Walsingham.
 
We have some very talented women coming to share their gifts with us. Sally Robb is coming from Austin and is our main presenter. She is a fabulous and Godly woman and I know that we will be blessed beyond words with what she has to share. We also have Margie Mandli and Anna Nuzzo joining us from Wisconsin. Margie has done extensive work in her diocese in the area of evangelization and will be presenting a very practical, hands-on workshop for us, helping us to learn how to evangelize in a concrete way! Anna is a fabulous musician and has served the Church in venues all over the world using her musical gifts. We are honored and blessed to have these three women coming.
 
Because you all are on our mailing list, we decided to give you the opportunity to have early-bird sign up for the conference! The official registration will not open until the first week in September, but we have decided to open it early for newsletter recipients. We have limited space and will close conference registration when we reach our maximum number. Please be sure to take advantage of this opportunity!
