WELCOME!

When we were first praying and designing the Encounter Houston Conference, we knew that it had to be different, it had to be attractive, it had to be truly life giving. What we came up with, honestly looks more like a party or a vacation than your typical Catholic conference. For a venue, we chose a resort and spa… on a lake… with a water park. For a ministry team, we chose those who would ignite joy in our hearts, rather than shame. For a schedule, we think that relaxation and rest is paramount, and is actually more important to the soul of young adults in their 20s and 30s, than a day packed full of head knowledge and content.

We truly hope you join us. Whether you are a young family with kids
(we have babysitting!), or a student just finishing college.
Whether you haven’t been to church in years or discerning religious life.
You have a place at Encounter! We are about community coming together to enjoy three days of relaxation, worship and a life giving Encounter with Jesus.
