As you pack your bags and head out to your summer destinations, the ARISE Together in Christ Parish Team wishes you a peaceful and relaxing summer season. While you are soaking up the summer sun and fun, there are some of our parishioners busily planning our parish’s third season of the spiritual renewal process called ARISE Together in Christ.
This Weekend - June 25 & 26 Parish families will be invited to visit the construction site after mass to sign their name and share a prayer on the parish floor. We will have volunteers assisting with parking and directing people to the right location.

By Frances Dolores It’s 2016, and while carving out a moment of peace for prayer isn’t technically impossible, it’s certainly a challenge. This holds especially true for Catholic young adults, who often find themselves being pulled in multiple directions with new obligations from family, friends, and careers. Luckily, Susan Conroy is returning to EWTN with an all-new miniseries aimed at providing these much needed moments of spiritual respite in “Coming to Christ: Young Adults and the Church.” (Premiering at 6:30 p.m. ET, Monday, June 6)

My husband and I have three daughters who at young ages already express some big opinions about life, including a four-year-old who complains about going to church. She knows what she wants, what she doesn’t want, and isn’t afraid to say it. So simply telling her that she must go to church doesn’t cut it. She needs to understand the why behind Catholic Mass, and she wants to know what’s in it for her.
