This program is for children and teens over the age of 7, who are not Baptized or Baptized in another faith and wish to join the Catholic church. The program is at least a two-year program or could be longer, depending on the child/teen.
During the first year, your child/teen will attend their grade-level Faith Formation classes along with additional lessons in Church Traditions, prayers, and Sacred Scripture.
The second year they will attend FF classes and meet 3 times a month. These classes will help them understand the Catholic faith on a deeper level and prepare them to receive the Sacraments of Baptism, First Holy Eucharist, and Confirmation. The students are evaluated throughout the year and if ready, the student will receive their Sacraments at the Easter Vigil. There is no time set on receiving Sacraments, it is when the child/teen is ready.
