With the parish growing larger and larger - we want to try and make it smaller, namely through Small Christian Communities. Small Christian Communities are where members of our community get together to live the joy of the Gospel, grow in their faith and prayer, develop lifelong friendships and a stronger sense of community.
These small groups of about 10 adults are the ideal place to welcome a family or parishioner who is new to our community at Saint Faustina, or someone who has been around for a while but is looking to grow deeper in their relationship with the Lord with a solid peer group.
Small Christian Communities can begin in a variety of ways including with a core program offered by the parish periodically throughout the year. The program is held on campus and generally lasts 5-7 weeks where you will meet fellow parishioners in both large group and small group settings. Following the core program, the team will assist in the formation of Small Chrisitan Communities. Alternatively, we can help you foster the development a small group of your own at work, in your community, or wherever you feel called to build up a Small Chrisitan Community.
As we look forward, we would like to take the call from the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops for a Eucharistic Revival, and center our Small Christian Communities Fall Program on the Eucharist.
