As we continue to mourn the tragic loss of lives in Uvalde, we want to encourage our parish to pray in solidarity with those who are still suffering. In particular, please keep the community of Sacred Heart in Uvalde in your prayers, as they are currently ministering to the victims and families of those affected by this week's attack. Fr. Dat has reached out to their community, and has offered to help support them with our prayers - as well as taking up a special collection to help the families of the victims. Next weekend (June 4/5) we will be taking up that special collection which will be sent to Sacred Heart in Uvalde to assist those in need.
