As part of their Confirmation preparation, all youth are required to complete two service projects.
These projects should reflect the Corporal Works of Mercy, allowing candidates to experience firsthand what it means to care for those in need. More than just checking a box, these projects are designed to inspire a lifelong commitment to serving others.

Upcoming Opportunities at St. Faustina
Stay tuned for upcoming service projects and events at St. Faustina! More details will be announced soon—be ready to make an impact in our community.
The Confirmation Service Project is more than just accumulating "volunteer hours"—it is a meaningful opportunity to live out your faith by serving others with intention and purpose. While general volunteering is valuable, a true service project reflects Christ’s call to love, serve, and bring His mercy to those in need.
Key Differences:
Volunteer Hours- Any act of helping, such as assisting at events, cleaning, or general tasks. While beneficial, these activities do not always connect directly to our faith or the needs of the most vulnerable.
Service Project- A faith-driven act of service that reflects the Corporal Works of Mercy and allows candidates to encounter Christ through serving others (e.g., feeding the homeless, visiting the elderly, organizing a drive for those in need).
The goal of the Service Project is not just to complete a task but to grow spiritually by actively demonstrating God’s love in the world. Candidates should prayerfully choose a service opportunity that helps them deepen their commitment to discipleship and the mission of the Church.
At St. Faustina, we believe that faith is meant to be lived out through action. TheCorporal Works of Mercy are ways we respond to Christ’s call to love our neighbors in tangible ways .
