January 5th (SUNDAY)
Speaker: ALEX GOTAY
Alex Gotay is a Christ follower, Husband of 24 years, Father of four boys, National Teen and Young Adult Speaker, Retreat Leader, Evangelizer, Missioner, 4th Degreee Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Blackbelt and full-time Youth Minister, who has been there and is now living it REAL for Christ! His intense approach and comedic style, plus his real style captures ALL audiences!Dr. G's passion for Christ and his experiences in life allows him to address the culture’s many ailments from a unique perspective with all the answers being found in Christ! His childhood and teenage years consisted of many troubles. Growing up the way he did led him to despair. In his early twenties Alex met a Youth Minister who helped him form his relationship with Christ. He became heavily involved in multicultural youth ministry right after and has been involved and doing it ever since! His powerful messages help connect with teens and young adults, from all backgrounds, because his electric discussions are in a language that they understand and are made relevant!

December 4th
Speaker: Josh BlakesleyJosh Blakesley has acknowledged a simple calling: To make music that moves people into prayer and action.
As a songwriter, specifically for liturgy in today’s era, the question that provokes Josh is, ‘how do I create a song that will honor traditions yet speak to the modern Church and lead them to worship?’ So, he collaborated with his guitar player, Grae McCullough, to write a new mass setting, paying homage to the hymns of the past and the current culture of modern worship. “Every week we lead music for school and parish masses, so we knew we needed something that would resonate with all ages. We also wanted it to be joyful, approachable and easy to sing but still fresh, dynamic and expressive,” says Josh.
In spring of 2017, he released the long-awaited project through OCP called Mass of Restoration: Acoustic Sessions. You can find more information by visiting visit ocp.org and searching ‘Mass of Restoration’.
Josh continues to tour heavily with his band, playing at churches, youth and adult conferences, camps, and more. Currently he is the Music Ministry Coordinator for St Faustina Catholic Church in Fulshear TX where he resides with his wife Heather and their two children, Sophie and Sutton.

November 6th
Fr. Christopher, along with his twin brother Kevin, was born in Houston, TX to Dave and Eilís Meyer. Raised in Sugar Land with Kevin and his younger sister Kate, he attended St. Laurence Catholic School from preschool through eighth grade. He then attended Strake Jesuit, where he began to softly hear the call to the priesthood. Fr. Christopher attended Texas A&M University, where his faith was deepened at St. Mary’s Catholic Center. During this time in college, inspired by many excellent priests, he began to seriously discern the priesthood. After a somewhat confusing discernment between marriage, religious life, and diocesan priesthood, he would eventually find real clarity in entering seminary for the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston. After completing his formation at St. Mary's Seminary, Fr. Christopher was ordained a priest on June 4th, 2022.

He’s the author of “A Catholic Guide to Adulting”, he’s the founder of the Triumph Men’s Conference, he’s released two music albums, and his videos have accumulated tens of millions of views.

His background includes work as a marriage and family therapist, and religious formation with the Franciscan Friars of the Renewal. In his free time he enjoys long walks on the beach, talking to strangers in random accents, and taco Tuesdays. He resides in the Austin, TX area with his beautiful wife & five children.

May 1st
She received her final vows from the Dominican Sisters of Mary Immaculate Province in Houston in 2006. Since then Sr. Anna Pauline has given over 50 talks, conferences and workshops on marriage, family, catechist training, and Eucharistic youth movements around the country. She served as a postulant director for three years and vocation director for 5yrs at Mary Immaculate Province. She has traveled to Mexico and Vietnam for missionary trips along with volunteering at Martha’s kitchen, visiting the juvenile detention center, and the elderly in hospitals and nursing homes.

In 2020 the lord led her to Gratia Plena to serve as a spiritual director where she was desperately needed through the pandemic. Currently, Sister directs the student sisters and journeys with them in their formation at Mary Immaculate Province. She finds great joy in sharing the fruits of contemplation with all those that God has placed in her path.

April 3rd- Divine Mercy
Fr. David Michael Moses is 30 years old and grew-up in Houston, Texas. He started college when he was just 14 and graduated with his bachelor’s degree at the age of 18. He was accepted into several law schools, but ultimately felt called to the priesthood and entered seminary for the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston. He was ordained in 2019 at the age of 25 and is now the parochial vicar at Christ the Good Shepherd in Spring, Texas. He enjoys writing music and his “Concerts for Life” have collectively raised over $788,000 to assist women in crisis pregnancies. Fr. David Michael is the founder of the Pilgrim Rosary project and is also active on social media where he shares stories from priestly life.

Speaker: Katie VillarrealKatie is a graduate student at Divine Mercy University, pursuing her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She completed her undergraduate studies in political science at Texas A&M University. Katie has had the joy and privilege of working in youth ministry for the past five years here at St. Faustina Catholic Church in Fulshear, TX. She has had the opportunity to coordinate retreats, give talks, and provide training in ministry on both a parish and diocesan level. Katie’s experience in ministry has continually reinforced her conviction in the goodness of the human person and the redemptive, healing power of God’s love. She hopes to help those she serves enter into a deeper awareness of God’s personal, abiding love for them and to encounter Jesus as the great healer.

January 7th- Happy New Year
Family dinner will start immediately after the 4:30 pm Mass with FREE hotdogs, games, and Hungry Howies Pizza ($3 a slice). It will be followed by a dynamic presentation and program by national Catholic speaker Katie Hartfiel beginning at 6:00 pm! The night will include prayer and worship in front of the Blessed Sacrament.Speaker: Katie Hartiel
Katie received her Theology degree from Franciscan University of Steubenville and spent the following seven years serving as a youth minister in Houston. She now feels blessed to spend her days with her husband, Mark, and their four children, while still getting to travel to speak about Jesus.

October 11th- Eucharistic Revival
Speaker: Fr. Dat Hoang
Fr. Dat Hoang was born in Vietnam and came to the United States in 1990. He is one of eight children. He attended high school here in Houston and entered the Seminary in 1994.
Fr. Dat was ordained in 2003 and his first assignment after ordination was to Holy Name Parish, north of Downtown. Later on, he was assigned to St. Mary Magdalene Parish in Humble, TX where he served as Parochial Vicar and in charge of Hispanic Ministry there. In 1997, Cardinal DiNardo appointed Fr. Dat as Director of Vocations and the Department of Seminarians, which he served for 7 years before being sent as the founding administrator of St. Faustina Parish in Fulshear.

September 13th- Kick-Off
Speaker: Brian Lennox
All our families are invited to come and join us at Zion Kick-Off Night! Zion is a monthly night of worship for the whole parish all K-12 faith formation participates in. Family dinner starts at 5:00 pm with FREE hotdogs, games, and inflatables, followed by a short presentation by Brian Lennox, Director of Faith Formation.
The night will include prayer and worship in front of the Blessed Sacrament with Fr. Dat. We will end our evening with more community time while we continue to enjoy the food, games, and inflatables. We can't wait to kick off the Faith Formation year with you!
